A new double-height glass entrance at the building will welcome abundant natural light and building occupants into a reimagined lobby that features a fresh, modern design accented with greenery and other biophilic elements. The paintings adorn construction walls around 95 Columbus, which are in place as part of a major renovation program Columbia is completing at the building. The mural stretches over 200 feet across 50 wooden panels along the Grove Street side of the building, and each letter has been given its own unique design and color scheme. Sanders, a talented muralist whose striking works have graced the Jersey City arts scene for nearly a decade, conceived the design and worked directly with Columbia and the artists to make her vision a reality.
